Sonic Generations is a pretty great game, but sometimes you just need something different. Here are some other games that scratch that same itch.

1. Super Mario Odyssey
   Super Mario Odyssey is the latest 3D Mario game and it is absolutely fantastic. It borrows a lot from Sonic Generations in terms of level design and gameplay, but it also adds its own unique twist.
2. Rayman Origins
   Rayman Origins is a 2D platformer that is absolutely gorgeous. The level design is top notch and the soundtrack is fantastic. It also has a co-op mode which is a blast to play with a friend.
3. LittleBigPlanet 3
   LittleBigPlanet 3 is a 2.5D platformer that is absolutely packed with content. The levels are creative and varied, and there is a ton of stuff to do outside of the main game. It also has a great co-op mode.
4. Super Meat Boy
   Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails platformer that is a ton of fun. It is incredibly challenging, but it is also very rewarding. The level design is fantastic and the soundtrack is awesome.
5. Celeste
   Celeste is a 2D platformer that focuses on exploration and story. The level design is amazing and the game has a great sense of atmosphere. The platforming is also top notch.
